About Us

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower women of color to be seen, heard, and thrive in our personal and professional lives.

We believe that taking control of our health and well-being enables us to be courageous, resilient, and strong when navigating the complexities of being a woman of color.

We live our mission by helping women incorporate physical activity and healthy habits into our lives to support both mental and physical well-being to age gracefully.

We approach our work with a culturally responsive, race conscious perspective that centers the unique needs and experiences of women of color.

Welcome! I’m a health coach, personal trainer, and researcher. I work with professional women of color who want to sustainably incorporate movement and physical activity into their routines to support their health, in a way that honors who they are and where they are.

In addition to my coaching work, I’m also a health researcher focusing on health disparities. I draw upon my research experience and knowledge of health issues that disproportionally impact people of color to offer a culturally responsive, race conscious approach.

I am passionate about the role that health and fitness play in facilitating well-being and addressing health disparities for women of color. I see physical activity as a means to help improve overall mental and physical well-being, positively cope with everyday stress and trauma, and prevent many chronic diseases. CRS Coaching grew out of a pressing need for health and wellness services for women of color, by women of color.

My vision is for women of color to be well in all aspects of our lives - physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and financially.
